The Ixtens Story

Ixtens is changing the way suppliers, merchants, and marketplaces interact online. We understand multichannel e-commerce because it is the core business of our customers.

Founded in 2004 as an e-commerce solutions provider, over the last 6 years Ixtens has transformed its business from offering broader e-commerce implementation services to being the leading name in multi-channel enablement.

In 2005, after a successful year working with Simon & Schuster, Sony Entertainment, Bertelsmann, and Time-Life, Ixtens became one of the first merchant integration partners for Amazon. The relationship started in the sporting goods category, with CBS Sportsline as the first joint customer, and then expanded to other categories.

Ixtens continued to work with Amazon over the last six years and has developed a variety of solutions that address both merchant integration and marketplace enablement needs. At this point Ixtens is Amazon’s premier Certified Systems Integrator, offering solutions to merchants launching on the Amazon Merchant@ and M.Com platform in the United States and United Kingdom.

While Amazon is an important partner, Ixtens solutions offer merchants an ability to seamlessly integrate with eBay, Overstock.com, Buy.com, Shop.com, and a variety of other marketplace. In addition, Ixtens provides the necessary infrastructure for a merchant to turn their online store into a marketplace, leveraging partner product catalogs and inventory.

Ixtens continues to grow and is developing new solutions for the multichannel commerce world. Solutions that change the way every merchant does business online.
